The agency is run and managed by Paul Mills. He oversees the work of all staff, recruitment and training and also agency development.
Senior Practitioner - Lil is the registered manager and supervises the agencies social workers in addition to supervising a number of foster carers.
Supervising Social Workers - Lil, Mick, Paul and Anne are all professionally qualified social workers and registered with the General Social Care Council. Between them they have experience of work in a variety of fostering, residential and field social work settings. It is their specific responsibility to support foster carers in their role through telephone support and a minimum of monthly home supervision visits to foster carers. They also maintain a strong link with placing social services.
Support Services Co-ordinator. Liza's role is to liaise with each child's educational setting and to offer educational support to carers. She is also responsible for arranging and monitoring therapy.
Office Support. Our operation is supported by Charlotte, our office manager, Kate our administrative assistant and Khesta, our finance officer who provide Woodside with administrative back up to underpin our work with carers and young people placed.
Initial Therapeutic Assessments are carried out by Liza prior to consideration by all those involved in caring for the child.
Individual Therapists are commissioned as necessary for each child.
Support Workers and Tutors are commissioned on an individual basis.
