Introduction
Woodside exists to give young people and children who are in the care of a local authority the opportunity to live within a family environment with the addition of regular input from qualified therapists and an education consultant. Woodside has been in operation since early 1998. We are a preferred provider for several local authorities, have attained Investors in People and are a West Midland & South West Consortium approved provider. We are inspected by Ofsted. Please use the links on the Quality Assurance page to view our most recent and past inspection reports. Woodside is staffed by qualified social workers, a senior practitioner with 28 years experience and other staff with qualifications in education and therapy. We are able to access a broad range of therapies and have an educational consultant who ensures young people placed with us receive appropriate support. Woodside works with families who live up to 1˝ hours travelling distance from the office base in Stroud. As an agency we work with the Fostering Network and BAAF to develop fostering practice both on a local and national level. Click here to view or Mission Statement.
